Post Implementation Review and Closure Workshop

Even when a project couldn't have gone better or worse, there's always lessons to be learnt.

It’s a sad truth that many projects fail - sometimes spectacularly. There are many reasons for this, both within and outside the project team's control, but wouldn’t it be great if those you could influence were picked up, understood, and avoided in the future?

This is where a Closure Workshop comes in.

This workshop provides the structure, guidance, and support to walk your team through a Post Implementation Review (PIR) and identify lessons learned.

During the workshop we will:

  • Tap into the knowledge in the room by giving people the opportunity and confidence to speak up.

  • Help people reflect on issues and challenges with the benefit of hindsight.

  • Identify risks, opportunities, and systemic weaknesses that may impact success in the future.

  • Articulate clear and practical lessons learned.

Meeting

How does it work?

Gathering inputs

Giving people the opportunity to consider without being put on the spot and avoiding group think.

Setting a clear agenda

Giving people the required information and a sense of how the session will run and what's expected of them.

Expert facilitation

Our facilitator will keep people on constructive evaluation and use a range of questioning techniques to explore different insights and perspectives.

For the record

At the conclusion of the workshop we will provide a summary of insights, themes, and issues explored during the session, with clear lessons learned for future projects.
